Tamarisk volunteer caregivers (those who work directly with our families) and board members participate in Tamarisk's new volunteer training. Our next training event will be held at the Landmark of Fridley (Near Hwy 65 & Mississippi St.) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 6 - 8th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This training event is a key part of the 4-step process that our volunteers take in order to be prepared to offer compassionate presence and practical help to families dealing with the challenges of life-threatening illness.
