There are opportunities for volunteers to serve on the City’s EDA, Park, Planning and Road Commissions.
First, you must be an East Bethel resident. If you are interested in serving on one of these Commissions, please submit a letter expressing your interest in the position, your reason for applying, how long you have been a resident of East Bethel, a brief statement of your education, training, and work experience, and describe your current involvement in the community. It is suggested that you include a current resume.
The terms for the Park, Planning and Road Commissions are three years and EDA Commission is six years. Members are compensated at a rate of $20 per regular meeting. Generally, each Commission meets once per month.
