  3. Booster Day Volunteer Meeting

    October 18, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ East Bethel City Hall

    East Bethel Booster Days is scheduled for July 19 and 20, 2019. All meetings are open to the public and are typically on the third Thursday of every month to prepare for the city celebration. We are always looking for new and innovative ideas for our event! Volunteers are needed to help with many different events on and before East Bethel Booster Days.   5. Coon Lake Community Center Pancake Breakfast

    The Coon Lake Community Center is hosting a pancake/french toast breakfast. Come and enjoy all you can eat pancakes or french toast, a serving of bacon or sausage, coffee or milk, and a small orange juice. A la carte items include juice, milk, eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and coffee. Located lake side at 182 Forest Road. In the summer you can dock your boat at the Community Center dock. Otherwise drive or walk on over for breakfast and visit with your area residents. Maybe you can also catch an egret having his breakfast on the beach.

    Learn how to keep your septic system operating properly--when to pump, how to protect it from freezing, and more. You will receive the University of Minnesota Extension Septic System Owner's Guide at the class. You will also walk away from this class more confident and knowledgeable.     East Bethel is part of the Upper Rum River Watershed Management Organization (URRWMO). This organization seeks to maintain the quality of area lakes, rivers, streams, groundwater, and other water resources across municipal boundaries. At the most local level, the URRWMO will be working for the Rum River and our lakes.
