The 2018 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6th. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of voting for federal, state, county, local, and judicial offices. The city's mayoral and council election will be held on the same ballot. There will be two at-large council member seats (four year terms) and the mayor's seat (two year term). Anoka County residents who are unable to go to their polling place on General Election Day may cast an absentee ballot by mail or in person through Monday, November 5th. Voters who prefer to cast their absentee ballot in person may vote at the city hall of the city in which they reside during regular office hours. East Bethel City Hall hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In-person absentee balloting will also be available at city hall on Saturday, November 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5th.
